Man, I miss Hershel. Rick needs him more than ever, and I can hear him telling him "get back here and get your head clear, Rick," like he did in I Ain't a Judas, and, of course, him telling Rick that plants break but can grow again and you'll have a whole new plant. And he was so proud of Rick that he was willing to try another way when the Guvnah came to take the prison. It didn't work out, but he had a smile on his face even as the Guvnah killed him:( Yes, as Glenn said, he was a great man.

Hershel was such a good character and someone who wasn't naive in how they needed to live in the world but someone who was idealistic that they could have a life. He struck the right balance between being hard and doing what he needed to do and being someone who believed in that humanity could be better. I think Glenn is the closet to this on the show now but not a replacement for Apocalypse Santa.

I miss Bob. He was flawed but sweet. I hate that he and Sasha had such a short time together and that he had to watch as the termites cooked and ate his leg. I did love how he waited until they were half done before he let them in on his little secret. That was pretty cool. He got the last laugh on that one.

Still, it would have been nice to get to know him better.

    [IMG] Rest in peace Bob.

I didn't like Bob initially. Then when I started to like him, they killed him. Lesson learned. Do not like new characters.

Same here. Once I started getting interested in his character they snatched him away.

Just out of curiosity, why didn't you like him initially?

I didn't dislike him. I was neutral, but his putting the group in danger because of his addiction did not endear me to him.

Right. I didn't hate him but that was a stupid and selfish move. But after that he did what he could to show he was team family. I respected him because he did what he needed to do to get pass that addiction. And the little moments with him and Sash were cute.

His optimism was just unreal. It made him a lovable character.

True that. It was definitely one of his endearing qualities.

I pretty much miss all the dearly departed. I just felt as though I would have liked to see more from Bob and Mika.

Usually I'm cool with the character deaths, especially if they aren't a main. You get dealt with, you just get dealt with, but but but...

I was not prepared for Noah to go. I was in shock. I thought he had a lot of potential. I try to stay away from spoilers so I didn't see it coming and I was actually upset. He didn't have to go out like that and that's why I never ever liked Nicholas after that. No redemption, period.

My love for Andrea is eternal and will never falter. I have to skip her death scene and the few episodes leading up to it every re-watch because I just can’t bear it. Yes, she was an imperfect character, she was seriously flawed and made a lot of mistakes, but she was relatable for me, and I understood her. That death scene was infuriating and it’s like they just gave up trying to make anything decent with her happen. She was wronged beyond belief. I don’t even know why I’m so attached to this character all these years later, but I am and I love her. Andrea and Michandrea for life.

I miss Shane and Andrea. I thought they were great together. Their relationship made S2 interesting to me.
