    1. Rick Wakes Up to Find a New World
Rick emerges from his coma and doesn’t find Shane. Or Carl. Or Lori. Just a door, ominously labeled “Don’t Open. Dead Inside,” and a terrifying, death-ridden hand. The rest is history.

    2. Rick and Shane’s Final Confrontation
An unhinged Shane threatens to kill Rick, forcing Rick’s hand. “Damn you for making me do this,” Rick yells at him.

    3. Rick Meets Judith
When Maggie and Carl emerge from the prison with Judith, Rick immediately knows something is wrong. “Where is she?” is all he can say about his wife.

    4. Rick Bites Joe
It’s never a good idea to get between Rick and Carl. Joe learns that the hard way when Rick takes a lesson from the walkers, biting Joe’s neck and spitting out the flesh while Joe quickly bleeds to death.

    5. Rick’s Walker-Killing Rampage in Alexandria
After watching his son get shot in the eye and Jesse’s family get devoured by walkers, a shell-shocked Rick strides outside with his hatchet and harnesses his fury into a walker-killing frenzy.

So, what do you think? Are these 5 truly Rick's most iconic moments?

I dunno, I would have thought finding love with his best friend and fellow warrior after losing his wife of fifteen or whatever years would have been worth a mention. :ogg:

It mentions Jessie and her family but not Michonne?

I always loved the Ricktator speech in "Beside the Dying Fire."

I honestly think killing Tony and Dave in "Nebraska" should be on here. That was a watershed moment.

Only insofar as they were dead and he went on a killing spree.

I agree with the first four the fifth is meh to me. Though it may be meh because I hyped that episode up too much and it didn't deliver. :notlooking:

They're definitely missing the rise of the Ricktatorship in 2x13 though.

I can't argue with #1-4. But I definitely think we should have replaced #5 with Richonne.

1-4 are pretty obvious but I think they should have mentioned Richonne as well. That was pretty damn iconic!
I also loved Rick's red handled machete revenge on :gareth:

The first four are fine but number 5 is crap. I didn't see Jessie or her kids dying as one of the reasons for Rick's rampage. That was Carl getting shot and nothing else. He was perfectly fine before that. Sure he was sad for about 2 seconds when Sam and Jessie died, but he wasn't upset at all about Ron. Rick didn't lose it until Carl was shot in the eye. That's when he zoned out and started on his killing spree. It's also not the first time he's done that. He went on a mini walker killing spree after Lori died.

Um, I think Richonne definitely should have been on the list. The Ricktator speech, the red-handled machete speech to Gareth, going on a walker killing spree at the prison, riding into Atlanta on his horse, his first walker kill of the little girl, or Nebraska were iconic moments as well. They should have did a top 10.

-No 3 was more about loosing Lori. Then I kinda agree. Need to learn to read more than the headlines. Never cared for Judith. Never will.
-Also, even if I loved no 5, I can never agree that he was going on a killing spree because of rage or insanity.
-My moments would def include bicycle girl- because it said so much of who Rick was in the beginning and all of the hiding-under-the-bed and breaking-out-of-the-house scenes in Claimed.
-Also, him shooting the people in Terminus and swirling around like he was in some kind of hair commercial. That was hot.
But it´s difficult. There is a lot of great ones. Rick is just Epic. All the way through.

I don't know. #1-4 seem fine to me, but I probably would have reworded #5 to include Richonne even though it happens two months after. I do think NWO was important, but only because Rick and TF were able to work alongside the Alexandrians to secure their home. I feel like they're emphasizing the wrong thing in the original statement.

I agree but it looks like they are going season by season.

They won't list more than one moment per a season and Rick killing Shane definitely was his most iconic moment of season 2 since it pretty much cemented the ultimate detachment from the old world by killing his lifelong best friend after realizing he was beyond saving.

I would replace him waking up from the coma with this moment for sure:

I'm positive it's this moment that won a lot of non-horror fans over to this show. I know it's what captivated me.

And I COMPLETELY agree that this moment deserves top 5 status and should replace the walker rampage in 6x9:

I'm actually okay with no Richonne mention as that wasn't necessarily a pure 'Rick' moment but rather a culmination of a 4 season love story. If there were 10 top moments, I would like to see it on the list but get why it didn't make the top 5.

That first gif is what made me so intrigued with this man. I started watching during season 4 but saw just a few episodes went back and saw this and was like Rick is deep y'all. He's always had that softness no matter how badass he is. that's why I find him so compelling and think Andy is an amazing actor to be able to be all that as Rick and not seem forced.

His face when he was telling her how sorry he was to have to kill her, he looked like he was going to cry and I loved him for that.
